Skyrock’s STEAM Boxes are made of DIY materials that you can find around the house or at the grocery store and off-the-shelf electronics you can buy at the hardware store. Everything is accessible, affordable, and replaceable so kids can recycle and remix their inventions!
We’ve used 30,000 hours of STEAM teaching experience to make the challenge level just right. We make it simple to prepare but not too easy to complete.
But don’t worry mum and dad. To ensure you’re always one step ahead and that the inventing never stops, we’ve added cheat sheets and support online so you can ‘grease the wheels’ if you think it’s needed.
We’re optimistic that the lockdowns will be lifted soon BUT it seems that social distancing is here for quite a while and that staying at home will be encouraged. For this, we know that creative and constructive projects that are affordable and ESSENTIAL.
As former Maths and Science teachers at leading international schools, we have seen how all of the textbooks and tests are killing the curiosity in our kids. It’s serious work without play, and hard work that isn’t fun.
