'One Zero Three' is a first person mystery game currently in development by 'Dystopia Interactive'. It's premise is that of a young girl, Lily, who has a very vivid imagination. So vivid that it's like another world entirely, this is Lily's safe place. Things are about to change in Lily's safe place though, as something bad has happened to Lily, so bad that her memory has decided to dispose of any recollection of it. It's up to Lily, and her imaginary bear 'Wilbur', to delve deep into her memories, and her imagination, in hopes to solve the mystery surrounding the things that she has forgotten.
The first thing I noticed about 'One Zero Three' was the art style.. It's gorgeous. It's detailed rooms filled with things to look at, painted over with the right color palette that truly make for a game that stands out. The character models have also been given a certain touch that fills them with life, even if their eyes are completely blank. I am loving what I am seeing of this so far, the story is intriguing and is filled with enough mystery to make you want to know more. Also the gameplay sounds fun. The Kickstarter campaign describes the gameplay of 'One Zero Three' "as a mystery game of I-spy driven by storytelling", and honestly, that sounds like my kind of game.
'One Zero Three' is definitely one to remember..
